About us

canfly? is a free, one-stop portal for drone (UAS) safety information in the European Union. Under EASA rules - Regulation (EU) 2019/947, Article 15 - every EU and EEA state must publish its UAS geographical zones: the areas where drone flight is prohibited, restricted, or needs authorisation.
Each state publishes them differently, and some not at all. canfly? collects them, normalises every one to the EASA ED-269 model, and puts them on a single map - currently 16 of 31 EU/EEA states and 210,910 zones, refreshed automatically and attributed to the authority that published them.
We check our data sources every day (24 hours) and apply any changes that the specific local authority might've published. In the interest of safety, please double-check any zone you're unsure of on their site or by contacting them directly.
